The structure of superior absorption

Whether a wound is low, medium or high exuding, control of exudate is imperative to wound healing. Uncontrolled wound exudate delays healing making it very important that excess exudate is removed from the wound by an absorbent dressing1.

Biatain's unique 3D polymer foam:

  • Conforms to the wound bed
  • Absorbs exudate vertically
  • Locks away fluid even under pressure

The conformability of the Biatain foam enables close contact with the wound bed for an optimal moist wound healing environment – even under compression.
